Bundaleer Wines

“To all of those involved with family owned and operated Bundaleer Wines, creating wine isn't just another business, it really is, a “labour of love.” All red wines are made exclusively from grapes grow at Bundaleer Vineyard, which was planted in a former orchard area in the Southern Flinders Ranges region of South Australia. School friends Graham Spurling and Des Meaney chose this land and planted Shiraz and Cabernet grapes in 1998, first wine released was the 2001 Shiraz. Des sadly passed away in 2008 but his legacy lives on through the beautiful wines his daughter, winemaker Angela Meaney, creates each season from the vineyard he planted. Bundaleer wines have won many awards and the winery is rated 5 stars by James Halliday. It is awarded Dark Horse Winery 2015 by James Halliday for producing a particularly impressive series of wines.”
